Don't. Just don't. First, size is way too small for my standard size couch. We are talking 82" of normal couch. Not Jolly Green Giant OverStuffed Couch. Just normal size couch, well within the 92" this cover allegedly fits. That's okay, I thought, because the one I bought for my love seat is too small, too. Perhaps I can use the sofa sized one for the love seat. No. Way too big for that. So, both are going back.Now, had they come close to fitting, there were a couple of other issues with these. One is the strings attached to the top portion of the slip cover. I am absolutely mystified what these are for because they a) don't reach the ground, so you can't tie them to frame or legs; and b) they don't reach all the way behind the couch to tie to each other. Perhaps they are there to facilitate strangling oneself after the frustration of crawling all around and under the couch trying to figure out how to secure the cover to the couch. Along about the time I considered tying paracord to the strings to make them reach, I printed out the return labels.Without a way to secure this thing to the couch, you can guess what happens when you sit on it. Yes. That's right. It wads up and comes off. Trying to tuck it in tight enough not to come off is not feasible since it is already too small for the couch.Then there is the poor quality construction. Now, these are cheap, so I was not expecting the universe here. But the sofa cover had a seam that was pulling apart so the lining inside the cover was coming out. The love seat cover had poorly sewn piping on one side so that there was a couple of inches of tail hanging off. Not a huge deal, had the love seat cover fit. I would have lived with that. Given the poor stitching, though, these would not have held up well in the face of pets or children. Better than one's furniture being destroyed and easier to replace, of course. Ironically, I was perfectly happy with the thickness and look of the cover. That was actually better than I was expecting for the price.So, all in all, do yourself a favor and pass on these unless you have doll house furniture. What others have said about them being too small and having no way to attach them is truth. Save yourselves.An update on this: I initiated the return, and then realized that since this was not an Amazon purchase, I would have to pay return shipping on this of $16.00. So I will have had the privilege of having paid $28.00 in shipping, total on $40 worth of crap. If I thought there was $16.00 (the amount of my refund after all is said and done) of use in these crappy things, I would keep them and call it a wash. Well, that is what I get for buying from a seller rather than buying directly from Amazon. I knew better. Live and learn.Let me just start out by saying the 4 star review is an average between the product and the seller. The seller did a fantastic job. I'm a prime customer and this product was due between Feb 26th and March 1st. It arrived on the 23rd. Good job seller getting the product out. 5 stars for the seller. Now the product. 3 stars. I don't hate it. It looks good when you aren't sitting on it. Unfortunately it only ties down in the back. That means that while the cover stays on the couch, it doesn't stay in place (at least not how I'd like it too). So 5 stars for the seller, 3 for the product, 4 stars overall. I'd do business with this seller again. I'd probably be willing to pay more the 2nd time for a product with more tie downs.I've only had this cover for a week but it seems to do the job of protecting my love seat from my cat. We don't use the love seat much so I don't know how it will be when people sit on it. I bought the sofa sized cover for my love seat so the whole top would be covered. I'm glad I did because the smaller size wouldn't have covered the top where my cat sits. I have to tuck in a bit on the outer sides of the seat cushions, but it looks good. The material is supposed to be microfiber but it is more like a brushed twill. I'm ok with that but I think my cat is annoyed. :) All in all I think this is a decent product for the price. If I could I'd put in a photo which I know would have helped me with my decision. I bought brown and it looks very nice with my sage colored sofa.Very nice texture! If the fit is good there should be no complaints.I knew when I ordered them, knew that the strap wouldn't work-- on my furniture, but I used the strings. My complaint is being charged a high shipping rate Each!!! cover (3) of them --couch, chair, and loveseat coming to my house. Not one shipping charge,but a shipping charge for each lightweight piece coming to one address. .I won't order from this company againI purchased this to replace the couch cover we've had for 3 years. GREAT product if you have dogs that don't know the phrase "OFF". We loved the old one and are very happy to see the improvements in this version, covers more of the sofa seat, has pockets on the arms for remotes/magazines and most importantly an elastic strap midway down the back to keep it from slipping off the sofa. Highly recommended! We use it on a 3 seat double reclining sofa (Lazy Boy) and it fits perfectly.I read the other reviews and bought this anyway. I had just had my sofa and loveseat cleaned (thanks, cats!) and I wanted to keep it that way as long as possible. I have an oversized plush set, and no, these do not fit as well as I'd like. My couch is microfiber (fake suede) and if no one touches it this cover stays in place - but one cat jumps up, and it shifts out of place. Don't get me started on the loveseat where I usually sit - I'm nearly ready to chuck it. The construction is okay, so I can't complain about the quality. It just is more of a pain to rearrange continually.I looked at a lot of more expensive covers before going with this one. I am glad I went with this one. While not perfect, it does the job:Pros:* Nice fabric - not too thick not too thin* Nice color* Washes well* Covers well over the back and seatCons:* Does not cover the arms of my sofa all the way (too short end to end)* Slides a lot. Has straps but they are too short and don't really work.I like it. It's more like a smooth fabric, instead of microfiber, which I also like, because it's cooler. I purchased Sage and Cream. It's a dark sage and the cream is light taupe. Order large! I bought the loveseat size for my large Lazyboy recliner & a half and it fits good.El producto de veía de buena calidad.
