They are washable and comfortable. We have leather furniture so staying in place is not a guarantee. Fortunately, the arm covers compensate for some of the drift that occurs when sitting on the couch moves the cover. The strap that helps to secure the item goes around the back of the couch and does a good job of keeping the cover on the couch. The covers (we have the couch and love seat) keep the couches protected. The covers have not given our dog access to the surface of the couch this far, despite the fact that they do do shift a bit. Our dog is still a puppy so we hope that when he’s bigger, our opinion of these covers will remain unchanged. We would buy them again given the results we’ve experienced thus far.I bought both the loveseat cover and the sofa cover. The loveseat cover fits a little snug on the back of my loveseat but it could be due to the large leather back cushions. The non slip works well and the covers are very easy to vacuum. I have two large dogs that shed a lot so vacuuming everyday is a must. I wash them every weekend and they come out looking new. The elastic straps on the back cover hold them in place quite nicely. Definitely worth the money if y9ou have pets and want to save your furniture.I reordered a second one from a previous order, so this is the exact product and seller but I did not receive the same product. Hopefully this is an oversight, but what received was not what is described and not what I received in the past. This one had a ribbon to tie behind the sofa to secure it. Also just rubber dots to keep in place. A lint brush was included but I am returning all of it and ordering again.The 1st one I purchased was the best sofa cover ever, elastic for the corners, no straps or ties-very quick and easy to change, adorable rubber paw prints to hold in place and pockets in the arms.Update - the reorder (3rd time ordering) matched the 2nd order with ribbons and a free lint brush. Returned it also and had to go with another seller. I need elastic corners, it makes changing these so much easier and I have to change them every other day (2 shedding machines in my house).I needed a cover for an antique love seat that my little dogs thought was a great place to sleep. The blanket thrown over wasn't doing the job anymore. I ordered this cover, and although a little long on the sides, it does a good job of keeping little paws and moisture off the love seat. I would purchase this item again.I really love these covers. They don't stay put maybe as much as I'd like, but still better than any other covers I've ever bought They are attractive for my beach condo. I bought solid blue to go over striped furniture. Everyone thinks they look great and I don't have to worry about wet bathingsuits or dirty sandy feet anymore on my new furniture. My son brings his dog who likes to jump on furniture too. No worries now They are comfortable and vacuum up easily!!This just did not hold up with my bigger 60 pound dogs. Always rumpled and strap tore. Fine for little one.I had to dog-sit for my brother's 2 dogs. I have a white loveseat sofa that I wanted to protect from dog hair and dirty paws. This couch protector worked well with the rubber pattern on the back and elastic band to wrap the backs. When the dogs went home, I simply take off the cover and put it in the washing machine to clean. Great product.!!I reordered a 2nd exact product and seller from a previous order, However, the product is not the same. I returned it a defective and ordered a 3rd one and received the same 2nd version. It was not what is described and definitely is not the same I received in the past. This one had loose ribbons to tie behind the sofa to secure it. I returned it again. It is not the good one I had in the past. The 1st one was a good sofa cover, elastic bands to secure the corners to the sofa, easy to change, hold in place and pockets in the arms. I don't want it without elastic corners. Also, please delete the word "WATERPROOF" from product information. It is NOT WATERPROOF, but works very well for pets.
