This product is great overall. Fits great, is nice and thick material, and looks nice. I wouldn't say it is as "spot friendly" as the original IKEA ones- that's why the 4 stars. Learn from my mistake- Read the drying instructions! It's cotton so it will shrink when heat is applied. I usually wash my covers in cold and dry on low/less dry setting. I popped them in the dryer not thinking and they shrunk on medium heat. The cushions could be squished in the covers but the base cover does not stretch nicely :-) I wetted the base cover down again and tried to stretch it over however the damage was done. My fault, not the company's as they say to air dry. Expensive lesson.The quality and fit is great, but the color is wrong. I hate reds with orange undertones and the photo didn’t appear to be orange until I put it up to my old IKEA red slipcover (first photo, center pillow) and you can see the difference. Unfortunately, the color doesn’t work with the decor we already had, so I’ll have to try to sell it. I know buying red items online is iffy, but I didn’t have time to wait for a custom color one to be made. Just be aware that the red has orange undertones instead of blue. We will have to live with it and clash. It’s a good thing that only our elderly parents come over now. It’s not as soft as my Ikea cover, but it actually seems more durable. I would buy from this company again, as everything else was great and shipping was fast—just not red for me.I love the color it fits well...it collects a ton of animal hair so if you have pets be aware you will be vacuuming daily!have been trying since october to purchase from Ikea . They no longer make covers for ektorp. This product was a bit more costly then Ikea but it really is very nice. Just iron it before putting it on it takes a bit of time but the end result gives a crisp clean look. Make sure you get the cotton product the polyester is slippery and very cheap in feel. the workmanship is fabulous I am very happy with my new grey cover.This was a great find. They discontinued this sofa at ikea so it was great we found the cover on Amazon. Very nice quality. It’s a little big but better than too small. One wash and dry I think would be better.Good quality. Looks like I hv a brand new sofa.I am very pleased with this ektorp slip cover. If your cushions are flat, the covers may appear a little big. Overall, it fits really well & it was easy to put on. The color is a nice light gray.Like I said, they are fine..I don't love them but they are okay especially considering IKEA no longer carries this product.
